Texas Shuffle Hard Rocking Blues

Formed in February 2021 by Drummer Simon OLeary(Primordial, Geasa, Fisted Sister)Guitarist Daragh T Brennan(Syphor, Monsters of metal, Fisted SIster)Bass player Erick Fletcher(Cruachan , Nephridium, Monsters of Metal) and last but by no means least , Vocalist Keith Caffery(Shock Sorrow, Black Swan , Monsters of metal).

Each member has many years experience playing live with their various bands and have pooled their experience to bring the best hard rockin blues band to the stages of Ireland and beyond, Daragh as lucky enough to have played with Rory Gallagher in 1992 when he was chosen to be part of a clinic in the Guinness hop store with 4 other guitar players chosen from the Ballyfermot Rock School.

Brought together by a mutual love of Texas Blues, Southern Rock and Electric Blues , the band got into the rehearsals studio once it was possible after lockdown and it possible to and play some mean blues tunes by the likes of ZZ Top, SRV, Rory Gallagher, Buddy Guy, BB KIng, Cream and many others. By the end of 2021 they were playing in the well known live venue Fibber Macgees and since then have been headlining nights there every few months and rockin the place with each performance.

Texas Shuffle have supported Thin As Lizzy in Limerick and have played several times in McHughes in Drogheda and Toales in Dundalk and also headined a gig in Whelans in November 2023 with Martin from the legendary Stone Cold Hobos in support.

In Febraury 2024 nthey were invited to play in Koblenz,Germany , in a very well know local live venue "Florinzmarkt" and shared the stage with local blues legend Dirk Dommermuth(Blueside)

In February 2025 the lads are going to record their first original Single , with a cover of 16 Tonnes by Merle Travis , and will be releasing it as a 7 inch single initally
