Jacqui Bannon And Michael Cleary Music

Michael and Jacqui are based in County Fermanagh and are well known locally and beyond for their musical entertainment over the years.  They came together as a two-piece act in 2019 and since then they’ve been performing at social dance events around the country.  They also perform in lounge bars and at parties receiving positive feedback and new venues to play at.  They've released several duets together along with videos. Michael is from Belleek, Co Fermanagh and is very well known in the country music scene singing and playing country music over the past 30 years or more.  He travelled all over Ireland singing and playing at all the top Social Dance venues in the country and even travelled across the water to England and Scotland including Spain and Portugal performing at social dance venues organised by entertainment companies in hotels and on cruise ships. Michael’s very unique country voice gained him great popularity over the years both on radio and at social dance venues.  Michael wrote and recorded some of his own country songs, one such popular song was, “Brian You’re a Legend” (a song about the country legend singer Brian Coll). 

Jacqui lives in Enniskillen, Co Fermanagh.  She originally came from Belturbet, Co Cavan but now resides in Enniskillen.  For the past 20 years or more she has played gigs as a ‘One Woman Act’ in venues such as pubs, hotels and parties singing all styles of music including country.  She recorded some country songs Forever and Ever and Cottage in the Country (video on youtube) when she appeared on the Glor Tire competition on TG4 in 2012. 

In her earlier days of singing she recorded some classic songs such as The Evergreen by well known singer Barbara Streisand and a song called Wounded Heart by American singer Bonnie Raitt.

Jacqui recorded a spiritual/gospel album of songs in 2017 called “How We Love” in 2017, which was one of the tracks on the album, a song that was written and recorded by the great Beth Nelson Chapman.  Jacqui is well known locally for her singing as a soloist at church funerals and weddings.  She also wrote and recorded some middle of the road style songs which got plenty of airplay on radio.
