Denis says ''About four years ago I was I was playing one night in a Hotel near Limerick when a man approached him to ask if I had written any of my own songs I said I hadn't and his ''reply was you'll never know what you sound like until you do'' as a result that was the Night the seed for songwriting was planted in my head, I love the whole entire process of recording and creating something it's my new buzz my process for writing songs is I compare it to a river the verse flows smooth the bridge is white choppy water and the chores is the waterfall'' - Dinny
