Kildare's Vinny Fanning says ''Singing's always been a big part of my life, but the competitive side didn't really kick in until my early twenties. Before that, it was just a passion, something I loved to do. But then I decided to take the plunge and start entering competitions. It was a steep learning curve, but also incredibly rewarding. Those early competitions taught me a lot about performing under pressure and honing my craft.''
''Then I developed my own one-man show, which has been my focus for the last 14 years. I've toured all over Ireland, playing in a huge variety of venues, from cozy pubs to high-end hotels. I even spent a few years abroad, performing on cruise ships and in hotels overseas. It's been an amazing journey, full of incredible experiences and memories I'll never forget. Now I'm back in Ireland, ready to take my career to the next level and hopefully play on some of the biggest stages around. My childhood dream is still very much alive, and I'm eager to see where it leads''.
